We would like to shine the spotlight on our summer interns and to thank them for their hard work and dedication that they gifted to us over the past eight weeks. Holly Castor, a student at UAB, who is majoring in Cybersecurity, worked for our Accounting team by creating budgets within our project management system. Will Hataway, a student at Auburn University, is currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to teaming with Holly on creating budgets, Will assisted with inventory control at our Lab. Lastly is Trevor Lee. Trevor’s focus for Prism was creating QR codes for our employee business cards. This is Trevor’s second summer working as an intern for Prism and we were glad to have him back. Trevor is currently seeking a degree in Computer Engineering at UAH. We wish each of our interns the best of luck now that they are back in school!

We are currently seeking an experienced (3+ years) Controls Engineer for our Orlando location. This position is full-time and comes with an outstanding and competitive benefits package. This position will be responsible for a diverse number of projects for entertainment and industrial applications such as ride/show control, manufacturing, and robotics. Depending on the location of the project, domestic and/or international travel will be required. Position is fun and rewarding but can be challenging and demanding at times due to deadlines and a fast-paced work environment. Requirements include a degree in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering. Require programming experience in Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, or Structured Text is required. Must be capable of identifying/troubleshooting systems at a high level. Required experience in any one of the following control systems platforms: Rockwell (Studio or RSLogix), Siemens (TIA Portal or Step 7), Beckhoff (TwinCat). Must be a critical thinker and have excellent communication skills. Prefer experience in safety systems, entertainment, motion control, Electrical design/AutoCAD, ability to troubleshoot low voltage controls hardware, network design/Implementation, and/or experience in Programming: C/C++, C#, or Python.
